Germany’s Third Voluntary National Review (VNR) to the HLPF 2025

    The Science Platform Sustainability 2030 (wpn2030) convenes DNS Labs, a compact, agile and co-creative dialogue format. These generate integrated knowledge at the science-policy-society interface for the German Sustainable Development Strategy (Deutsche Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie – DNS), taking an approach that is transdisciplinary and interministerial and seeking exchange with academia.

    When a DNS Lab is convened, diverse perspectives on a particular issue reflecting the views of 10 to 30 stakeholders representing academia, public policy and administration, civil society and industry are gathered and reflected upon jointly in a rapid process. The purpose of this format is to provide fresh ideas and impetus for policy-making, research and societal transformation.
