Examples Examples of municipal activities

A total of 18 cities and municipalities have already submitted Voluntary Local Reviews (VLRs) to the UN High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) to describe their contribution to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These Reviews make local contributions more visible, provide information on the progress made on implementation and facilitate international comparisons between municipalities.

Cities and municipalities have also contributed examples from their own implementation efforts to Germany's Voluntary National Review 2025, which can be found here.
